Ferian bags are made in the West Midlands of England using hand-worked saddlery techniques that established the factory’s reputation in the 1800s.

The bodies of the bags are constructed from natural semi-matt vegetable tanned leather developed exclusively for Ferian by a third generation Worcestershire equestrian leather finisher.  For strength and beauty the straps are made of English high shine Bridle leather.

These fine full grain skins are slowly enriched by hand with natural oils and waxes that protect and enhance the leathers.

The Ferian insignia symbolises England in British Naval flag signals code and represents our commitment to British manufacturing.  It is discreetly engraved on solid brass hand polished fittings, cast using the lost wax process, by Ferian’s London foundry.

These time proven materials and techniques create an exclusive collection of long serving bags that over time will acquire a unique patina reflecting the character and travels of their owner.

Treated with respect they will last a lifetime.
