In 1774 after four years of tireless experimentation Josiah Wedgwood perfected Jasperware ceramics.
Wedgwood’s elegant designs were influenced by classicism but his pottery though decorative was functional and made to be enjoyed and used by generations – an approach shared by Ferian.
These intaglios were some of the last to be produced by Wedgwood’s Stoke-on-Trent factory before it moved overseas. Their hand made quality makes them irregular and each setting has been adjusted to fit the piece.
Due to the scarcity of the cameos they are of very limited edition.
