Lost wax cast, polished and set by hand in London, England.
Abolitionist, potter, entrepreneur, Josiah Wedgwood revolutionised ceramics.
In 1774 after four years of tireless experimentation he perfected Jasperware ceramics.
Wedgwood’s elegant designs were influenced by classicism but his pottery though decorative was functional and made to be enjoyed and used by generations – an approach shared by Ferian.
These vintage cameos were some of the last to be produced by Wedgwood’s Stoke-on-Trent factory and date from the 1950s- 1980s. Their hand made quality makes them irregular and each setting has been adjusted to fit the piece.
Due to the scarcity of the cameos they are of very limited edition
