Ferian is committed to making our jewellery in England. All pieces are designed and hand made in London. We have an established working relationship with a family-owned jewellery workshop in North London. This local partnership allows us to work with their expert craftspeople to realise Ferian designs to the highest standards, whilst reducing our carbon footprint (we just cycle to the workshop and assay office for hallmarking) and ensuring we have first-hand knowledge of their working environment and practices. The majority of Ferian pieces are made to order, greatly cutting down on waste.
Our gold and silver are responsibly sourced from an approved LBMA (London Bullion Market) supplier – The LBMA audit verifies the legitimacy of gold and silver supply chains, ensuring sourcing meets international ethical standards.
Ferian respects the environment and uses recycled /recyclable packaging. For packing material we use biodegradable paper and tissue. We ship in compostable mailing bags.
Our packaging is sourced from Sussex based The Tiny Box company – you can learn more here: https://www.tinyboxcompany.co.uk
Our jewellery bags are made from undyed cotton in Cambridgeshire and traditionally screen printed.
We are proud to support British craft and London manufacturing.
