Production & Delivery Timing

Every piece in our made-to-order collection is crafted individually in London from the point of order. Please allow 4–6 weeks from order to delivery. We will contact you by email once your order has been dispatched, along with a tracking reference.

During busy periods (November–December and ahead of Valentine's Day) lead times may extend slightly. If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering.

UK Ring Sizing

We use the standard UK alphabetical ring sizing system (A–Z+). If you are unsure of your size, we recommend one of the following approaches before placing your order:

  • Visit a local jeweller and ask to be measured on a ring mandrel — this takes only a few minutes and is usually free.
  • Our printable ring guide provides a useful indication of size and can be downloaded here.
  • If ordering as a gift, the most common UK women's ring size is N–O and the most common men's size is T–U, though individual sizing varies considerably.

Because each ring is made to your specified size, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit if an incorrect size is provided. Please size carefully before ordering.

Brass Model & Approval Service

For certain bespoke commissions we offer an optional brass model service. The brass model of your ring can be sent so you can check the fit and form before we proceed to casting in the final metal. Please visit Brass Ring Lending Service - there is a fee of £15 per size which will be refunded on return and placement of your order. The fee is non-refundable if there is no purchase - this is to cover our post and administration.

Hallmarking

All Ferian pieces in precious metal are submitted to the London Assay Office at Goldsmiths' Hall for hallmarking in accordance with the UK Hallmarking Act 1973. Your hallmark confirms the metal's purity and our maker's mark. Hallmarking is included in the price and lead time.

Cancellations

Because production begins promptly after your order is confirmed, we are unable to accept cancellations once work has commenced. If you wish to cancel, please contact us at the earliest opportunity via email. Cancellations requested before any materials have been cut or cast will be considered at our discretion and a handling fee may apply.

Returns — Faulty Items

Made-to-order pieces are non-returnable unless faulty. If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the fault. We will arrange collection and either repair or replace the item at no cost to you, in accordance with your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Items damaged through normal wear, accidental damage, or improper sizing (where the correct size was provided at the point of order) do not qualify as faulty.

Made-to-Order Personalisation

We can personalise many pieces with initials, dates, or short inscriptions — please enquire before ordering as not all designs accommodate engraving. Personalised items follow the same non-returnable policy as all other made-to-order pieces.
