OVAL CAMEO RINGS

The oval cameo ring was a form favoured by the Georgians and Victorians, who wore portrait and mythological cameos as tokens of devotion and identity. Ferian's oval setting references this tradition for the modern collector.

These rare vintage Wedgwood cameos, dating from the 1950s–80s, are no longer produced, and the historic Wedgwood collection is now held by the V&A. Each cameo is a miniature piece of British ceramic history, set into a bespoke lost-wax cast setting in gold or sterling silver, hand-polished by a single master craftsperson in London, then hallmarked in Hatton Garden.

Josiah Wedgwood was captivated by the Classical period — these miniature bas-relief cameos depict Muses, Animals, Nautical and Heraldic themes. Use the filters to choose your colour and motif.
