SILVER RED BANDED AGATE LATTICE LOCKET
SILVER
MADE TO ORDER
The Perfume Locket is designed to be worn on either side: set with Banded Red Agate in sterling silver, the back revealing a woven lattice design, allowing perfume (sprayed on a cloth or sponge) to escape through the holes and fragrance the air.
Each piece is lost wax cast, hand polished and the stone hand set by one master craftsperson in London before being hallmarked in Hatton Garden.
Finished with a weighty hand made jump ring and made in Italy belcher chain.
Available with 18 carat gold vermeil lining recommended if using for perfume.
Red Agate is associated with stamina, courage vitality, strength and the nurturing of confidence.
Perfume is the invisible completion of personalising our attire, and like jewellery is steeped in symbolism and history.
This locket takes its cue from the 13th Century custom of carrying precious aromatics in perforated cases, set with healing gemstones to restore the senses and to protect the wearer.
The interwoven lattice structure is a pattern of unity and harmony with lattice-work partitions used since Roman times to protect revered spaces.
The locket can also guard a cherished picture, intimate note, loved one’s hair or souvenir.
