LOCKETS AND POMANDERS

Ferian means "to carry" in Old English, and these pieces continue the tradition of lockets as custodians of private memory, in a world ever more confessional.

Drawing on the Georgian fascination with scent and symbolism, and the Victorian obsession with memento mori and secret passions, each piece is micro-engineered in minimal form, reimagined for the modern collector.

Made to order: lost-wax cast in gold or silver, and set with symbolic semi-precious gemstones in minimal settings. Polished and assembled in London by a single master craftsperson, before being bicycled to Hatton Garden for official hallmarking.
