The faithful hound dog can be found depicted on medieval tiles, allegorical tapestries and many symbolic sculptures. This piece was influenced by the 19th-century characterful figurines produced by the Staffordshire potteries.

Starting life as a hand-drawn sketch, this elegant hound has been carefully observed with sculpted muzzle, minute details of paw pads, sweeping tail and aloof expression.

The piece combines traditional craftsmanship with functional design - serving both as jewellery and a personal fragrance diffuser.

Drawing inspiration from the Georgian era's fascination with scent and animal symbolism, the Perfume Hound is perforated in the tradition of the pomander. A scent-infused sponge (or cotton-wool) rests within the internal cavity allowsing your chosen fragrance to gently diffuse throughout the day, leaving a subtle, aromatic trail.

The chain sits under the collar bone so is visible when worn with a shirt or can be layered with longer pendants and chains.

Each micro engineered component is hand-polished and assembled by a single master craftsperson, then bicycled to Hatton Garden for hallmarking — all within a five-mile radius in London — reflecting Ferian’s commitment to local artistry of distinction and heritage craft.

UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS

We ship using tracked DHL express- the buyer’s contribution is approximately £25.  

All orders with a value under $800 US Dollar, equal to £560 UK Pounds, can be imported Duty Free (combined order items will be shipped separately).

We ship using tracked DHL or UPS express. The buyer’s contribution is calculated at the checkout depending on your country.  An indication is :Europe £25,  U.S.A £25, New Zealand £35, Australia and  Canada £28, Singapore £55. 

For all customers outside the UK the website will automatically display prices without UK sales tax. 

Import duties and tax charges are your responsibility and will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery.  Duties can be checked with your country's custom office or calculated at Simply Duty. 

All rings are bespoke and made to order and cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged. 
For non bespoke jewellery you have 14 days to decide whether you would like to return your purchase for either an exchange or refund.
