This charming little piglet was influenced by the celebrated pigs in rural British folklore and literature. From Beatrix Potter's whimsical but precise watercolour illustrations of Pigling Bland, to Sir Edwin Landseer's observational farmyard drawings housed in the Royal Academy of Arts collection.
Piglet started life as numerous sketches that were realised in wax by an award winning miniaturist sculptor, then cast using the ancient lost-wax technique. Piglet is naturally modelled trotting along with an endearing worried expression. Piglet is finely detailed with with tiny cloven hooves, floppy ears, gently turned up snout and sweet little curly tail.
The piece combines traditional craftsmanship with functional design - serving both as jewellry and a personal fragrance diffuser.
Drawing inspiration from the Georgian era’s fascination with scent and symbolism, the Perfume Piglet is perforated in the tradition of the pomander. A scent-infused sponge (or cotton-wool) rests within the internal cavity, allowing your chosen fragrance to gently diffuse throughout the day, leaving a subtle, aromatic trail.
The chain sits under the collar bone so is visible when worn with a shirt or can be layered with longer pendants and chains.

Each micro engineered component is lost wax cast hand-polished and assembled by a single master craftsperson, then bicycled to Hatton Garden for hallmarking — all within a five-mile radius in London — reflecting Ferian’s commitment to local artistry of distinction and heritage craft.
