Lapis lazuli represents strength and courage, wisdom, intellect and truth. The Egyptians believed that the earth rests on a lapis lazuli, lending the heavens their blue colour.

Blue as the colour of the sky and the sea and is associated with depth, trust, loyalty, confidence, faith, and intelligence.

Gemstones were formed in the depths of the earth, millions and even billions of years ago. Highly prized by ancient civilizations, gemstones were mounted in jewellery to guard against danger and avert misfortune.

Solid brass, plated in 14 carat gold inlaid Lapis lazuli, assembled by hand in London. The curb chain is 12-carat filled gold.
