Ferian jewellery takes its cue from the origins of symbolic jewellery. Swivel fobs became fashionable in the 19th century as decorative attachments to a gentleman’s watch. The ‘swivel’ was often engraved with a motto or crest used to imprint the motif in a wax seal, ensuring letters remained private and tamper proof.
The vintage Wedgwood Jasperware cameos date from the 1950s-80s and are set in solid brass, 3 micron gold plated, set, cast and assembled by hand in London. The fob rotates on brass signature Ferian pins and is engraved on the reverse with the Ferin flags. Finished with a simple Italian sterling silver belcher chain.
