The Hours Series considers our relationship to time and the years required to master a skill, the pursuit of beauty, or something more enduring, like gemstones formed over millions of years. It is a reflection on what we choose to dedicate ourselves to, and what remains because of it.

Anything of value is invested with time: friendship, love, knowledge, and objects made to endure. To appear effortless is the result of rigour and commitment. Hours gather - at the bench, on the page, in the sun - until discipline becomes instinct and effort becomes form.

Each Ferian piece is created in close collaboration with craftspeople who have spent years refining their skill. From first research and sketch to expert wax carving, silver masters, casting, hand polishing, stone setting, assembly, and finally hallmarking in Hatton Garden, many hands and many hours shape every piece, all within a five-mile radius and transported by push bike.
